From March 6th to 10th, 2024, the Spanish capital will come alive with the 43rd edition of ARCOmadrid, focused on highlighting the artistic richness of the Caribbean in a vision that transcends physical borders.
The 2024 edition of ARCOmadrid will showcase a unique selection of galleries and artists connected to the Caribbean, curated by two experts in the region: Sara Hermann from the Dominican Republic and Carla Acevedo-Yates from Puerto Rico.
Central themes for analysis and research at ARCO’s Forum and Professional Meetings will revolve around Caribbean art and collecting, offering an enriching perspective on the vibrant artistic scene of the region.
In addition to its focus on the Caribbean, ARCO 2024 will maintain its acclaimed sections such as “Nunca lo mismo. Arte latinoamericano,” carefully curated by Manuela Moscoso and José Esparza Chong Cuy, which will continue to explore the diversity of artistic forms, practices, and sensibilities from Latin America.
The event will also feature “Opening,” dedicated to showcasing emerging talent in the international gallery scene, and “ArtsLibris,” a space that promotes collecting and becomes a reference for artist publications, self-publishing, photobooks, and contemporary thought.
ARCOmadrid 2024 promises an exciting encounter with new values and innovative artistic proposals, serving as cornerstones of this extraordinary art fair.
Don’t miss the opportunity to immerse yourself in the energy and creativity of the Caribbean at ARCOmadrid 2024!
