Blue Line Arts announces the Off Center 2026 ceramic competition, an international call for experimental and ambitious ceramic art

Submission deadline: January 2, 2026

Blue Line Arts opens submissions for its Off Center 2026 ceramic competition, its annual juried exhibition celebrating bold, unconventional, and forward-thinking ceramic work. Known for spotlighting artists who challenge traditional formats, the exhibition seeks pieces that expand the conceptual and physical possibilities of clay. The call is open worldwide, inviting artists working in installation, sculptural forms, mixed media, functional and non-functional ceramics, wearable objects, and any ceramic-based practice that pushes the field into new territory.

A focus on innovation and scale at the Off Center 2026 ceramic competition

The Off Center 2026 ceramic competition encourages artists to submit works that go “off center” both conceptually and materially. Blue Line Arts is particularly interested in large-scale works, multi-part installations, wall-mounted ceramics, hybrid material combinations, and ambitious sculptural approaches. Submissions of traditional pottery, jewelry, and abstract forms are welcome, but this edition emphasizes boundary-breaking and experimental practices.
