SUGART launches its 2026 photography contest with Canon EOS R50 prizes

Submission deadline: March 15, 2026

The creative platform SUGART announces the open call for its March 2026 photography competition. This year’s edition invites emerging and established photographers to participate for the chance to win two Canon EOS R50 cameras, plus online visibility and an exclusive interview. The challenge focuses on capturing the unique character of Spain’s capital under the theme “Capture the Essence of Madrid.”

How to participate

The application process runs from 1–15 March 2026. Interested photographers must submit the following materials via email:

  • Full name
  • Phone number
  • Instagram link
  • Portfolio
  • A short video explaining why you want to participate

Public voting phase

Once submissions close, SUGART will share all portfolios through its Instagram stories. Finalists will be selected based on a combined voting system: 80% public vote + 20% organization. This format gives applicants strong exposure and real audience engagement.

Announcement of selected artists

The top 10 most voted photographers will be announced on 19 March 2026. These artists will be invited to exhibit their work during the event held on 29 March at OHM Espacio.

Semifinal: live presentation

The selected photographers must present three photographs aligned with the theme “Capturing the Essence of Madrid.” During the semifinal event, each participant will defend their proposal live before a specialized jury.

At the end of the session, only two finalists will advance to the Grand Final Event scheduled for early 2026.

Prizes

  • Two Canon EOS R50 cameras
  • Feature on SUGART’s website
