ASH Fine Art Photography Prize 2025

International call for submissions to the 2025 edition of the ASH Fine Art Awards

Submission deadline: December 31, 2025

The ASH Fine Art Awards announces the open call for the ASH Prize for the Best Photograph and Photographer of 2025, an international celebration dedicated to excellence in fine art photography. Now in its third edition, the prize highlights the most remarkable artistic works of the year and recognizes photographers whose creativity, technique, and conceptual depth stand out in the contemporary landscape.

Award overview

Winners of the ASH Fine Art Photography Prize 2025 will receive:

  • Publication as part of the Best Fine Art Pictures of the Year 2025
  • Participation in a major exhibition showcasing the selected works
  • Official certification as one of the Best Fine Art Photographers of 2025

The competition aims to bring visibility to outstanding photographic practices and celebrate artists whose work pushes the boundaries of visual expression.

Fine art photography: concept and vision

Fine art photography is rooted in the photographer’s ability to communicate emotions, ideas, and personal interpretations of reality. Unlike documentary photography, which seeks objectivity, fine art photography embraces subjectivity—allowing artists to construct, transform, or reinterpret the world according to their own vision.

Each participating artist is encouraged to present work that reflects a distinctive personal style, whether through recurring themes, experimental post-production, symbolic approaches, or conceptual frameworks. The competition is open to all forms and interpretations of fine art photography.

Who can apply

The prize is open to photographers from all countries and backgrounds. Both emerging and established artists are invited to submit work that showcases their unique aesthetic language and artistic intent.

Submission guidelines

The organizers welcome entries representing fine art photography in all its dimensions, including but not limited to:

  • Conceptual photography
  • Staged or constructed photography
  • Symbolic and narrative fine art work
  • Experimental photographic processes
  • Manipulated, blended, or composited digital images

Further technical requirements, submission formats, and deadlines may be announced through the official channels of the ASH Fine Art Awards.
