The MonoVisions Photography Awards 2026 invites photographers from all over the world — both professionals and amateurs — to submit their best black and white images.

The contest aims to discover outstanding monochrome talent and reward creativity across multiple genres.
About the competition
Each year, the MonoVisions Awards celebrates the beauty and artistry of black and white photography. Participants can compete in two main categories — Black and White Photo of the Year 2026 and Black and White Series of the Year 2026 — for a total of $5,000 USD in cash prizes.
Categories
Entrants can submit their work in 12 categories: Abstract, Architecture, Conceptual, Fine Art, Landscapes, Nature and Wildlife, Nude, People, Photojournalism, Portrait, Street Photography, and Travel.
You may submit a single photo or a series of up to eight images that share the same concept and vision. Toned images (sepia, selenium, gold, etc.) and post-processing adjustments are accepted.
Deadlines and fees
- Early Deadline: January 18th, 2026 — Series: $25 | Single: $20
- Final Deadline: May 17th, 2026 — Series: $30 | Single: $25
- Winners Announcement: July 26th, 2026
All category winners and honorable mentions will receive downloadable badges and certificates of achievement.
How to enter
Participants can upload their photos in JPG format (1200px on the longest side). Payments are accepted via PayPal or credit/debit card (Stripe). You can get all the information & details here.
